The following are suggested ways to get to Red Bull Arena from different locations in New York City. There are many other combinations, but these are the ones that we found to be faster and that will get you to the stadium 35 minutes after leaving New York Penn station or the World Trade Center PATH station.

UPPER WEST, UPPER EAST and MIDTOWN

(Via NJ Transit Train – New York Penn Station)

UPPER WEST - Take the red , , or blue and subway lines (direction downtown) to New York Penn Station (34th St.). Get off at New York Penn Station (34th St.)

UPPER EAST - Take the green or subway lines (direction downtown) to Lexington Ave (53nd St.). Transfer at Lexington Station to the blue E subway line direction World Trade Center. Get off at New York Penn Station (34th St.)

MIDTOWN - Make your way to New York Penn Station and take the New Jersey Transit options described next.

Once at New York Penn Station look for the New Jersey Transit counters. New Jersey Transit offers four convenient options that will fit your travel needs depending on the day of the week and the time of the day you are traveling.

OPTIONS 1 & 2 from New York Penn Station to Newark Penn Station

You have the option of taking the NJ Transit Northeast Corridor Line or the North Jersey Coast line trains to Newark Penn Station. When taking any of these two lines, get off at Newark Penn Station (second stop from Manhattan) and look for the yellow/black signs for the free New York Red Bulls Trolley. To access the Trolley stop at Newark Penn Station look for the Raymond Plaza/Ferry Street station exit and take a right as you come out. The Trolley will be on the other side of Ferry Street. The Trolley runs every 15-20 minutes and will drop off at a location walking distance from Red Bull Arena.

OPTIONS 3 & 4 from New York Penn Station to Newark Broad Street Station

You have also the options of taking the Montclair-Boonton Line or Morris & Essex Line to Newark Broad Street station. When taking any of the two lines, get off at Newark Broad Street (second stop from Manhattan) and look for the yellow/black signs for the free New York Red Bulls Trolley that will drop off at a location walking distance from Red Bull Arena.

Pre-Game Shuttle Station

Shuttle service begins two hours before every match and continues until one hour after the match. To access the shuttle stop at Newark Penn Station look for the Raymond Plaza East - Market Street exit. The exit is located between the entrances for Track A of the PATH train. As you go out this exit, go straight across the street and the pick up location is on Market St by Mother Cabrini Park. The Shuttle runs every 15-20 minutes and will drop off at a location walking distance from Red Bull Arena.  The shuttle may not run for non-Red Bulls matches, so please call 1.877.RBSOCCER for information for the shuttle schedule for non-Red Bulls matches.

Post Game Shuttle Station

Post game pick up is available on the corner of Pete Higgins and Cape May. To access the post-game shuttle, head toward Gate A and look for yellow signs and yellow school buses.

* If you are already on the red , or blue and or subway lines (direction downtown) and you go past New York Penn Station (34th St.), you can follow the directions offered for DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN below.

DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN

Via NY/NJ PATH Train - World Trade Center Take the red , or blue , subway lines to Chambers station and exit there, or the blue subway line to World Trade Center (WTC) and exit there.

From the Chambers subway station and/or the WTC subway station, walk one block to the World Trade Center PATH station (follow signs). Once at the WTC PATH station take the Newark Line train (red line) towards Newark and exit at Harrison Station (second to last stop). The PATH station is conveniently located in front of the stadium.
