MARKETING PARTNERSHIPS AND PREMIUM SERVICES INTERN
 
Description:
 
The New York Red Bulls are looking for motivated and organized college students in need of receiving college credit and experience with the Marketing Partnerships and Premium Services department. The internship is a great opportunity for those interested in pursuing a career in the sports industry. Candidates gain knowledge and insight into a crucial department in the sports industry. Working hours during the week are flexible. Candidates may be required to work all Red Bulls regular season and playoff (if applicable) home matches – this may interfere with holidays and weekends.
 
Responsibilities:
  •  Compiling key information about potential marketing partner prospects
  •  Assist with service effort for both marketing partners and premium services
  •  Help plan and execute on-site activation of sponsor and partner programs on match days and events as needed (client entertainment, on-field operations, etc.)
  •  Assist in managing client relationships by working with Account Manager, internal divisions (sales, ad ops, content, video production, legal, design, development, and league operations) and when necessary directly with clients and agencies, to ensure successful implementation of programs
  •  Track sponsor activation details including website banner ads placement, activation photos, emails blasts, LED signage, etc.
  •  Create event recaps and case studies for clients detailing the progress and success of their partnership program elements
  •  Provide ad hoc research and support tasks as needed
  •  Various administrative duties as requested

  •  Interest in some combination of marketing, sales, sponsorship, corporate hospitality, media, sports industry, events, etc.
  •  Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Compensation
  •  This internship is uncompensated
  •  NYRB will help facilitate student-provided paperwork to enable receiving course credit
  •  Scheduling is flexible, with a 16 hour per week minimum
  •  Applicant must receive college credit in order to be eligible for position

MANAGER, CRM AND ANALYTICS

Description

The Manager, CRM and Analytics is responsible for quantitative and strategic analyses in support of revenue generating departments of the New York Red Bulls. This position will provide data and reporting to inform the appropriate departments on a variety of subjects including, ticket pricing, revenue forecasting, season ticket holder analysis, database analysis, surveying, profitability analyses, customer segmentation, and sponsorship support.

Responsibilities
  • Work with sales team to identify which clients are most likely to renew/not renew and help develop proactive measures designed to prevent  defection
  • Create and distribute fan surveys, some specific to season ticket holders and others to our general database.
  • Support in data collation and analysis and present results to appropriate department staff to help direct marketing and sales decision-making
  • Improve the segmentation of the New York Red Bulls database
  • Work with Ticket System Manager to increase the effectiveness of targeted emails
  • Develop the plan and manage the fan contact data collection activities to be performed by the sales reps, such as enter-to-win raffles etc.
  • Perform revenue forecasting and trend analysis on ticket sales 
  • Utilize primary and secondary market ticket data to make ticket pricing recommendations for Red Bulls and other events at Red Bull Arena
  • Integrate numerous sources of customer behavior data to segment and prioritize existing and prospective buyers
  • Manage and maintain the CRM database. Includes system updates, improvements, upgrades, and maintaining organization
  • Identify and implement a lead-scoring system that prioritizes our most effective leads
  • Develop training manual and provide training on CRM system to all sales and marketing users.
  • Manage and communicate consistent best practices with all users in CRM system.
  • Manage all data within the CRM system including data imports, queries, data organization, and sustaining data integrity.
  • Analyze and report on sales, renewal and marketing efforts.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of fan loyalty programs
  • Assist with the overall needs of the department
 
Requirements
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities:
 
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience
  • 3 years of relevant work experience in database management
  • Strong quantitative, business, financial, and modeling skills
  • Must have Microsoft Dynamics experience.
  • Experience using statistical models to support business objectives
  • Computer proficient (Microsoft Office, CRM, Audience View, Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills
  • Ability to work well with others and comfortable taking initiative.
  • Detail Oriented
