In the club's ongoing effort to keep you, the supporters of the
club, as up to date as possible with what is going on with the first
team and beyond, below in a weekly update on how the Red Bull
Academy products are fairing playing for their respective
collegiate sides.  Academy products are translating the success
they had in the Academy system to the collegiate level.  Below is
the update though matches of Monday, November 22, as some seasons
ended, and others continued on in the NCAA tournament.

There are 37 Academy products playing collegiate soccer, representing 18 Universities, incuding several in the national polls.

Hot- Boston
College-

The Eagles’ season came to a heartbreaking end as they fell to Brown in the
NCAA Tournament, 2-1. The Eagles held the edge in the match with 22-15 shot
advantage and a 7-3 edge in corner kicks. But after Kyle Bekker tied the match
late in the first half, BC was not able to capitalize on subsequent attempts.
Hot finished his sophomore season with two goals in ten starts.

Matt Kassell – Maryland
The Terps will continue their quest for a National Title as they defeated
Penn, 4-0, on November 21. Kassel
notched both a goal and an assist in the second round match in the NCAA
Tournament. The Terps will face #15 Penn
State on November 28 in a
rematch of last year’s second round tilt.

Widner Saint Cyr – Maryland - The Terps will continue
their quest for a National Title as they defeated Penn, 4-0, on November 21. The
Terps will face #15 Penn
State on November 28 in a
rematch of last year’s second round tilt.

Dylan Mencia – Michigan
#19 Michigan advanced to the NCAA Round of
16 with a thrilling overtime win over the University of Central
Florida, 2-1. Latif Alashe scored his second
career goal to secure the win in overtime sending the Wolverines to face #18 South Carolina on
November 28.

Cesar Blacido – Monmouth  The #11 Hawks saw their season come to an end
as they fell to Dartmouth
in the first round of NCAA Tournament action on November 18, 0-4. Blacido ends
the season with two goals, two assists, and 20 shots, in 18 starts.

Anthony Vazquez – Monmouth - The #11 Hawks saw
their season come to an end as they fell to Dartmouth in the first round of NCAA
Tournament action on November 18, 0-4. Vazquez ends the season with 17 shots,
one goal, and three assists in 20 starts.
