Taking time out of their busy schedule, members of global music sensation One Direction dropped by Red Bull Arena Thursday night to get a run in and kick the ball around. The group, whose new album Midnight Memories went to No. 1 in the ‘Billboard’ album chart this week, is in town to appear on NBC’s Saturday Night Live - hosted this weekend by actor Paul Rudd.

One Direction member Louis Tomlinson is no stranger to the game, signing a professional deal with English second division side, Doncaster Rovers, back in August. He joined fellow members Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne on the pitch, as the group practiced their crossing, shooting and ball skills on a warm December evening.

Each group member was given a personalized Red Bulls jersey with the number 3 to signify their recent third number one album and was greeted by Red Bulls Sporting Director Andy Roxburgh (photographed above) upon their arrival.
