Robles Penalty Kick Stop Nominated for MLS Save of the Week

Red Bulls goalkeeper up for award after making crucial stop in 1-0 New York win

Another week and another MLS Save of the Week nomination for Red Bulls goalkeeper Luis Robles.

Robles was arguably the Man of the Match for New York in their 1-0 road win against FC Dallas last Sunday at Toyota Stadium. Despite being up a man for most of the match, the hosts earned a penalty kick after Tim Cahill fouled Danny Garcia in the box. However, facing his sixth penalty kick of the season, Robles stoned FC Dallas forward Blas Perez, tipping the Panamanian's shot over the bar. New York went on to win through a Bradley Wright-Phillips 71st minute goal.
