A LOOK BACK:
U20s:
The Red Bull U20s are not in season.

U18s:  The U18 Red Bulls defeated in-state rival NJSA 04 with a late goal to secure the three points on Saturday, April 17, in a US Development Academy match. The game started well for the Red Bulls as they dominated the early parts of the game but were unable to get on the scoreboard. Jon Gonzalez (Bloomfield, NJ) and CJ Lyle (Stamford, CT) came closest in the first half but could not get on the end of two crosses from George Velasquez (Union City, NJ).

ā€œAt half-time we talked about being more effective in the offensive third of the field and being more composed in the box. We created numerous chances today and should have won by more. But credit to NJSA and their goalkeeper who made several outstanding saves to make the game difficult for usā€ stated U18 Head Coach Paul Oā€™Donnell.

In the second half, the Red Bulls peppered the NJSA goal with numerous shots. However, it was not until the 76th minute when David Najem (Clifton, NJ) finished neatly from a Christian Battistesa (Bound Brook, NJ) cross. The U18s had several other great chances to double the score. The best chance was Mike Innocenziā€™s (Franklin Lakes, NJ) shot from eight yards out that hit off the underside and the crossbar and rebounded to safety.

The Red Bulls took an early lead when Clay Taylor (Mendham, NJ) slipped behind the Seacoast defense and beat the goalie to his left. The Red Bulls had many more chances in the first half but did not capitalize on them.

In the second half the Red Bulls continued to create chances and scored three more times on goals from Karl Cesar (Glen Oaks, NY) and Amando Moreno (Perth Amboy, NJ).  Taylor scored his second of the match to create the final margin.
