Red Bull Arena to host 2018 and 2022 World Cup Host Nation Announcement Viewing Party

Red Bull Arena will be hosting a viewing party for the FIFA World CupTM 2018 and 2022 Host Nations Announcement on Thursday, Dec. 2 starting at 9:00 AM at the stadium’s Bulls' Corner. In May, the USA Bid Committee submitted all of the signed government guarantees to FIFA as part of its bid to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup™ in the United States. Fans who attend the viewing party will receive a complimentary continental breakfast.




Former U.S. Men’s National Team standout goalkeeper Tony Meola, former Red Bull Mike Petke, and current Red Bulls Tim Ream and Danleigh Borman are expected to be present, as well as members of the Under-13 and Under-14 Red Bulls Academy squads. Attendees will enter through the stadium’s VIP entrance, and parking will be available on Pete Higgins Boulevard and in the stadium’s North Lot.

The U.S. will make its presentation to the FIFA Executive Committee for the 2022 FIFA World Cupâ„¢ on Wednesday, Dec. 1, at 11:00 AM ET (5 p.m. local time in Zurich). The FIFA Executive Committee will vote the following day, Thursday, Dec. 2, with the announcement of the 2018 and 2022 hosts broadcast live.
