The U-13 Red Bulls followed up the U-14 team’s win with an impressive victory of their own on Sunday as they took down Matchfit Academy U-13 Team by a score of 2-0.

The U-14 Red Bulls got a fast start against Delco as forward Wes Wade scored the game’s first goal just ten minutes into the contest. The Red Bulls added another tally before the half forward Ezequial Cei-Sandoval netted a goal on a pass from teammate Derek Ettienne. The second half was more of the same for the Red Bulls as Cei-Sandoval headed home his second goal of the day from six yards out. Midfielder Chris Lema capped off the day’s scoring by burying a strike from 30 yards away in the 75th minute. The U-14 Red Bulls will continue their season on Saturday, March 12th in a match against Met Oval at 9:00 AM.

The U-13 team kicked off their spring season with a well-rounded victory against Matchfit Academy that featured strong defense and timely scoring. The Red Bulls generated an early opportunity as forward John Antunes was fouled just outside the box by a Matchfit defender. Defender Cameron Allen curled the free kick into the back of the net to take a 1-0 advantage. Antunes was able to deliver the blow for the Red Bulls second goal as he took a shot form 25 yards out that rippled the net as the Red Bulls took a 2-0 advantage into the half. The second half was marked by great defense from the Red Bulls as they locked up the clean sheet and 2-0 victory. "It is always positive to get the result and we think we have a lot to build on from this match" said a pleased Coach Antonio Meza after the game.
