With just one week remaining for fans to vote online and by text
messaging for the All-Star Game First XI, Rafa Márquez, Landon Donovan, David Beckham, and Kasey Keller all continue to lead at their respective
positions, having received the most combined votes.
And though there's been no change among the top candidates, there's
been some movement throughout the fan ballot as fans jostle to elect
their favorite players to the All-Star team that's scheduled to play EPL
champions Manchester United on July 27 at Red Bull Arena.
Marquez and Tim Ream maintain their spots atop the defenders leaderboard, while Joel Lindpere is third at midfield and Thierry Henry and Luke Rodgers are second and fifth, respectively, at forward.
Don't forget, online and text voting concludes July 5 at 11:59 p.m. ET, so now's the time to start stuffing that ballot! VOTE HERE.
