The New York Red Bulls returned to practice at Montclair State University Thursday, Jan. 19.
Outside of some familiar faces from 2011, there were a number of new ones as well. Goalkeeper Ryan Meara and defenders Jonathan Borrajo and Connor Lade were among the small group of new guys making their debut at the training grounds. Newly acquired defender Markus Holgersson is expected to join the team after he returns from international duties in Sweden.
There are a few additional forwards missing since the first day of camp, as Luke Rodgers did not report due to visa issues and Juan Agudelo is tending to international duty. Captain Thierry Henry is on loan with Arsenal.
Trialists reported on Monday, Jan. 23.
