The New York Red Bulls had two players named to the United States U-18 men’s national team roster announced today by the U.S. Soccer Federation.

New York Red Bulls Academy members’ goalkeeper Santiago Castano and midfielder Adam Najem were both named to the squad for a training camp that will take place from March 25 – April 1 at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA.

Castano joined the Red Bulls at age 13 and has previously been called up to the U.S. U-14, U-15, U-17 and U-18 national teams. The Union City, N.J. native recently posted a shutout for the New York Red Bulls U-17/18 team in a 2-0 win against D.C. United.

Najem was most recently called up to the U.S. U-18 national team for a January camp. Najem has featured in eight games and scored seven goals for the New York Red Bulls U-15/16 team so far this season.
