Henry's goal came in the 57th minute when midfielder Joel Lindpere placed a solid cross into the box that found the Frenchman primed to chip it into the mesh. The goal halved Montreal's lead to 2-1, following early second-half goals from Marco Di Vaio and Davy Arnaud.

New York would fail to find the back of net again over the final 33 minutes, instead sacrificing a third to Montreal in the 74th minute as Sanna Nyassi scored to extend Montreal's lead to 3-1 in what ultimately stood as the final.

Red Bulls midfielder Dax McCarty received a yellow card in the 83rd minute and will miss the next regular season match against Houston due to yellow card accumulation.

The Red Bulls return to action Tuesday when they host Tottenham at 7 PM for a friendly at Red Bull Arena.
