Match Highlights: NY 1, CHV 1

The New York Red Bulls salvaged a point at home Wednesday night after finishing in a 1-1 draw against Chivas USA. New York remains undefeated at home this season, as they currently hold a 4-0-2 record at Red Bull Arena. The one-point finish puts the Red Bulls' total at 26 on the season, as they hold down first place in the Eastern Conference and enter into a tie with Real Salt Lake for best record in MLS. DC United, currently two points behind New York, hosts New England Saturday afternoon. A DC win would leapfrog New York and place them first in the East heading into the FIFA break.

Kenny Cooper scored the Red Bulls' lone goal in the 56th minute after receiving a perfectly placed ball from midfielder Dane Richards. The tally was Coop's 11th of the season, placing him in a first place tie with San Jose's Chris Wondolowski in the Golden Boot Race.

New York returns to action Tuesday, May 29, against the Charleston Battery in the third round of the U.S. Cup. More information, along with broadcast/live streaming details, will be available soon.

The next match at Red Bull Arena is slated for June 24 against I-95 rival DC United. The first 5,000 fans 12 and Under will receive free Red Bulls soccer balls. Get your tickets now at
