Red Bulls fans and soccer fans alike were treated to a special performance by Lionel Messi and the Argentinean National Team Thursday evening at Red Bull Arena.
Messi and company took part in a full training session on the pitch while fans and soccer enthusiasts looked on to catch a glimpse of the international superstar as he and his teammates performed a series of drills and training techniques.
Not only was the event free to all Red, Blue and Yellow Stampede Members, but the Argentineans were privy to a professional training atmosphere ahead of their international friendly against Brazil Saturday afternoon at MetLife Stadium.
Upon completion of the team’s training session, the Red Bulls front office presented each and every member of the Argentinean squad with a Red Bulls jersey.
To the delight of fans, Messi paused on his way back to the locker room to sign a few pieces of memorabilia, take pictures and wave to the crowd.
The Red Bulls return to action Sunday, June 17, when they visit Chicago to take on the Fire in a 5 PM ET kickoff.
