Newly acquired goalkeeper Bill Gaudette, who earned his first start in the wake of Ryan Meara's hip injury, backstopped the Red Bulls to a one-point finish thanks to a three-save performance. Rafa Marquez, who has struggled recently with an on-and-off again calf injury, was forced to leave the match in the 21st minute. Wilman Conde subbed on in his place and put in an industrious 69-minute performance.
