The Red Bulls Academy squads continued their strong form in the spring, going 2-0-1 against rival, D.C. United last weekend.

The Under-15 Red Bulls were back in action in a road match last weekend against D.C. United. The young Bulls came out strong, going up 1-0 eight minutes into the match with Ethan Lochner finishing off a chance. Jerel Blades doubled the lead 10 minutes later as the 15s got in behind the D.C. defense consistently. One penalty kick conversion for each side rounded out the scoring, with Red Bull Rafael Terci finding the back of the net, as New York won 3-1.

For the second week in a row the Under-14 Red Bulls matched up against a MLS Academy and came away with two convincing wins. The Red Bulls defeated the New England Revolution two weekends ago, 3-0, and traveled to D.C. United last weekend, coming away with a 4-2 win. Dantea Greer opened the scoring in the first half and Markez Zalla, Mason Toye and Zaire Bartley added second half goals as the first place Red Bulls improved to 23-1-1 on the season.

The 99 pre-Academy Red Bulls also traveled to play D.C. United. After creating numerous chances to score, the Red Bulls had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

The Red Bulls’ U-16s and U-18s had the weekend off.
