The New York Red Bulls Academy finished their 2013 regular season campaign on a strong note by clinching three regular season championships.

The 99 Red Bulls finished up the regular season with a win against South Central.  Zach Ryan opened up the scoring with an assist from Alex Clarke, followed shortly after by Brandon Haughton, who ended the day with four tallies. The Red Bulls continued to dominate the game and would add to the tally with two goals each from Bryan Sorto, Alex Clarke, Anes Mrkulic, and one apiece from Ben Silverstein and Valentino Ambrosio.

In U-14 action, the Red Bulls posted two victories against Met Oval and South Central this weekend to finish the season 27-1-1. With this win the U-14 team clinched the Northeast Pre-Academy regular season title for the third consecutive year. If their record was not impressive enough, the U-14 Red Bulls scored league high 143 goals this season.

The U14 Red Bulls enter the playoffs as the number one seed and will host Met Oval this weekend in the first round of the playoffs.

For the U-15 Red Bulls, there was no better way to close out a strong season than with a winning effort that helped them secured the fourth overall seed in the playoffs. They will face the Baltimore Bays in the first round of play next Saturday. The U15s are confident going into the postseason, having finished the season strong after winning the Potomac Memorial Day tournament and posting a regular season record of 16-4-3. The club also led the division in goals scored with 81.

On Sunday afternoon the Red Bulls’ U-16 squad defeated Empire United 4-0 to close out the regular season. Wes Wade scored two goals and Alex Tejera added one as well for the second consecutive game. The U-16s improved to 20-1-3 on the season. Evan Louro went the distance in goal and pitched a clean sheet that helped the club clinch the northeast division championship with two games remaining in the regular season. The defending national champions have scored a league-high 73 goals and allowed only eight.

The U-18 Red Bulls have clinched the northeast division championship for the second straight season thanks to a 19-1-4 record. Additionally, the U-18s scored a league-high 78 goals with two games still remaining in the regular season.
