New York Red Bulls to Host English Club Arsenal FC on July 26 at Red Bull Arena

The 2013 Supporters’ Shield winning New York Red Bulls announced today that they will face English club Arsenal FC on Saturday, July 26 at Red Bull Arena at 5:00 PM. The match pits current New York captain and legendary Arsenal forward Thierry Henry against the club where he scored a record 226 goals in all competitions.


The game will be Arsenal's only match on its visit to the United States. The Arsenal first team last visited the United States for an exhibition match with Independiente of Argentina in Miami, Florida in 1989. It will be Arsenal’s second encounter with the Red Bulls in three years, following a 1-1 draw at the 2011 Emirates Cup.

Current 2014 Red Bulls Full Season Ticket Holders will have this match included in their plans.
