Bradley Wright-Phillips wrote his name in the New York Red Bulls' record books in Week 24.
He also topped the Castrol Index Weekly Top 20 for his two-goal performance in New York's 4-2 win over the Montreal Impact, his second such Castrol Index honor in 2014. With the goals, BWP also became the single-season scoring leader for the Red Bulls, passing Juan Pablo Angel.
Rounding out the Top 5 for the week are goalkeeper Bobby Shuttleworth (No. 2) who earned a shutout for the New England Revolution in a win over Chivas USA, and Seattle Sounders' star duo of Clint Dempsey (No. 3) and Obafemi Martins (No. 4), for their exploits in a Cascadia Cup win over the Portland Timbers. Goalkeeper Steve Clark (No. 5) also earned a shutout in Columbus' commanding win over the Houston Dynamo.
One player, Chris Wondolowski (Nos. 17 and 19) made the Weekly Index twice, thanks to a goal in the San Jose Earthquakes' midweek draw at Seattle and a loss in Philadelphia on Sunday.
