HANOVER, N.J. (November 24, 2014) – The New York Red Bulls held an energetic practice at their training facility in Hanover on Monday, less than 24 hours after a 2-1 loss to New England in the first leg of the Eastern Conference Championship.

Despite the setback, practice was business as usual for New York.  After a light warmup the team ran through 5 v 2 drills and spirited small-sided games. The mood of the session was upbeat and competitive, with the focus on putting the game behind them and getting back to work.

The Red Bulls remain confident after Sunday’s loss, and the know it will take a full team effort to go to New England and get a result that will see them through to the MLS Cup.

“We know what we’re up against,” said Red Bulls goalkeeper Luis Robles after the match Sunday. “We know it’s going to take our best game, but I’m confident in these guys.”

The return leg is set for Saturday, November 29 at 3:00 pm at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. (TV: NBC Sports, Univision Deportes).
