SportsCare and Affinity Federal Credit Union have partnered with the New York Red Bulls professional Major League Soccer team to host a two hour youth soccer clinic at SportsCare’s state-of-the-art facility in Whippany, New Jersey on three set dates.

WHY:
The clinic will combine technical skills coaching with soccer specific strength and condition training. Additionally, athletes will be screened for current and potential injuries as well as be introduced to proven injury prevention strategies.
- Injury Screening and Prevention Exercises
- Acceleration/Plyometric Station (Sprint Track)
- Brief Wall Drills emphasizing proper technique for acceleration "punching" movement
- Resistance Bungees-Forward, Backward, Assistance Overspeed Pulling
- Plyo Box Series-Box Jumps, Depth Jumps, Sprint-Out (to ball)
