MSG Networks announces 2015 New York Red Bulls television schedule

New York, NY (March 13, 2015) – MSG Networks and Major League Soccer’s New York Red Bulls have unveiled the official television schedule for the 2015 season. MSG Networks will televise 19 of the MLS team’s 34 regular season matches with all games available on MSG GO.


MSG Networks’ first Red Bulls telecast will be Saturday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m. when the Red Bulls visit Columbus to take on the Columbus Crew SC. Coverage gets underway at 7:00 p.m. with a 30-minute pregame show on MSG Networks. MSG will also have exclusive coverage of the 2014 Eastern Conference Finals matchup when New York visits the New England Revolution on Saturday, May 2 at 7:30 p.m.


All of Red Bulls games televised on MSG Networks will be live streamed on MSG GO. MSG GO gives sports fans access to live television and video on demand content on smartphones, tablets, and computers. MSG GO is available for subscribers of participating television providers who receive MSG Networks as part of their pay television subscription for no additional fee and can be downloaded by visiting the Apple App Store or the Google Play store. On computers, customers may visit MSGGo.com.

MSG Networks, which has been the New York area television home of the Red Bulls (previously the Metro Stars) since 1996, will telecast pregame and postgame coverage for all MSG produced games. Emmy Award-winning broadcaster Steve Cangialosi returns for his eighth season as the team’s play-by-play announcer and 14th season covering the Red Bulls, while former New York and Olympic goalkeeper Shep Messing starts his 15th season as game analyst. Host and sideline reporter Tina Cervasio will be back for her eighth season covering the Red Bulls.


New York’s remaining 15 regular season matches will be exclusively shown by MLS national partners ESPN Networks, FOX Sports 1, and Univision. Five games will air on ESPN2 with simultaneous coverage on ESPN Deportes while FOX Sports will broadcast five games on FOX Sports 1 with simultaneous coverage on FOX Deportes.  In addition, UniMas and UDN will telecast four matches and one match respectively.
