  • The New York Red Bulls opened the Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs with a 1-0 victory Sunday at D.C. United in the first leg of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
  • New York is 3-7-2 all-time in the playoffs against D.C. United and has lost four of the five playoff series against DCU. Last season, New York won 3-2 on aggregate goals over D.C. United in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
  • New York earned its first postseason victory at D.C. United with the 1-0 victory Sunday. New York is 1-4-2 all-time at RFK Stadium in the postseason.
  • New York is 13-21-8 all-time in the playoffs. New York has 16 seasons all-time in postseason play and has been in the playoffs for five consecutive seasons.
