  • The New York Red Bulls advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals of the Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs with a 1-0 victory over D.C. United on Sunday at Red Bull Arena. The Red Bulls took the home-and-home series, 2-0 on aggregate, after taking a 1-0 win last weekend at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C.
  • New York is 4-7-2 all-time in the playoffs against D.C. United and has now won playoff series against D.C. in back-to-back seasons. New York had previously dropped the first four playoff series against United.
  • New York is now 3-3-0 at home against D.C. in the playoffs.
  • New York is 14-21-8 all-time in the playoffs. New York has 16 seasons all-time in postseason play and has been in the playoffs for five consecutive seasons.
