  • The New York Red Bulls fell to Columbus Crew SC, 2-1 on aggregate, in the Eastern Conference Championship series in the Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs after a 1-0 win on Sunday evening at Red Bull Arena.
  • Anatole Abang scored the Red Bulls' goal in stoppage time, getting his head on a ball and putting it out of the reach of Crew SC 'keeper Steve Clark. It was the first playoff goal of Abang's career.
  • Columbus entered with a 2-0 lead after scoring twice last weekend in the first leg at Columbus.
  • New York finishes the 2015 postseason 3-1-0, with two wins over D.C. United in the conference semifinals and a win and loss against Columbus.
