MATCH PREVIEW: New York Red Bulls II to Travel to Mecklenburg County Sportsplex Crown Legacy FC on June 4

HARRISON, N.J. (June 3, 2025) – New York Red Bulls II to travel to Mecklenburg County Sportsplex for a midweek clash against Crown Legacy FC on June 4. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. ET with coverage available on MLSNEXTPro.com. Nicholas Waley will be on the call.

Red Bulls II are coming off three straight victories, and have only given up one goal through the win streak. They sit in second in the Eastern Conference and are coming off a 1-0 home victory against Atlanta United 2 on May 25. Midfielder Nehuen Benedetti scored the lone goal of the match in the 81st minute when forward Julian Hall crossed a ball onto the six-yard box that we ushered towards net by the Bosque, Argentina native.

Crown Legacy are ninth in the Eastern Conference table. They were last in action on May 30 when they suffered a 1-0 loss to Toronto FC II at Yorks Lions Stadium.

Through four all-time MLS NEXT Pro matchups, Crown Legacy leads the series 2-0-2. The two sides last faced one another on August 25, 2024 at MSU Soccer Park. New York opened the scoring in the 26th minute when defender Omar Valencia whipped in a corner kick that was headed home by Aidan O’Connor. Crown Legacy would go on to score four unanswered goals in the second half to secure a 4-1 victory.

New York has never lost a game at Mecklenburg County Sportsplex, securing two draws in two road matches.
