New York is third in the Eastern Conference after securing a 5-0 victory against Toronto FC II at MSU Soccer Park. Defender Joshua Munson and forward Sean Baitinger each scored their first career MLS NEXT Pro goal. Meanwhile, forward Mijahir Jiménez opened the scoring, while midfielder Benny Rodriguez added a brace.
Philadelphia is in 11th place in the Eastern Conference and have lost two of their last three matches away from home. They were last in action on June 21, where they pulled off a 2-1 win at Orlando City B.
