After allowing two goals in the first half, substitute Christian Gallagher scored in the 64th minute to cut the deficit in half. Ultimately, their comeback efforts just fell short.
Toronto is in eighth place in the Eastern Conference and have gone unbeaten in their last two matches away from home. They were last in action on June 14, where they suffered a 4-2 home defeat against Connecticut United FC.
