HARRISON N.J. (June 14, 2026) - Red Bull New York II (7-4-3, 25 pts.) fall 2-1 to New England Revolution II (7-2-4, 28 pts.) on Sunday afternoon at Beirne Stadium.
New England opened the scoring in the 38th minute after a combination between Myles Morgan and right back Damario McIntosh ultimately led to the striker’s goal.
Just before halftime, New England doubled their lead after midfielder Javaun Mussenden took advantage of the empty net.
In the 64th minute, New York was able to cut the deficit in half after defender Aimar Sánchez delivered a ball to fellow defender Aimar Modelo making a run on the right side, who found substitute forward Christian Gallagher in a central position to score.
Gallagher scored his third goal of the season.
Modelo and Sánchez registered their first career MLS NEXT Pro assists.
Defender Jason Bori and forward Sean Baitinger made their first MLS NEXT Pro starts.
