New England opened the scoring in the 19th minute when midfielder Carlos Zambrano delivered the ball to midfieder Cristiano Oliveira, who then layed it off to forward Matthew Jean Baptiste for the score.
New England scored their second goal of the night when winger Myles Morgan took advantage of a loose ball which doubled the lead for the visitors.
To open the second half, New England earned their third goal of the night when midfielder Judah Siqueira acquired the ball and scored.
In the 49th minute, New England scored their fourth goal of the night when goalkeeper Donovan Parisian delivered the ball down the field to Baptiste, who then headed the ball to Morgan for his brace.
New York scored their lone goal in the 79th minute when defender Omar Valencia’s direct free kick found its way to substitute defender Jason Bori, whose header found the back of the net.
Bori scored his first career MLS NEXT Pro goal.
Valencia registered his first assist of the season.
