Red Bull New York Goalkeeper Aidan Stokes Called to U-19 USYNT Camp

HARRISON, N.J. (May 28, 2026) – Red Bull New York goalkeeper Aidan Stokes has been called up to the U-19 USYNT, U.S. Soccer announced today.

Comprised of 24 players, the domestic training camp will be held at the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center from June 1 to June 9.

During the camp, the U-19s will face off against Japan on Tuesday, June 9, at the National Training Center.

This camp will be used to prepare for the upcoming 2026 CONCACAF U-20 Championship. Held in Mexico from July 25 to August 9, the tournament results will determine who from the confederation will participate in the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

The U.S. will be in Group A of the competition, with Cuba, El Salvador and Haiti rounding out the rest of the group.

Stokes was the starting goalkeeper for the U-17’s at the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar, where he posted two shutouts. He started all three group matches and the Round of 32 match against Morocco.

Previously, the Totowa, N.J. native joined the U.S. U-17 camp from June 2 to June 10 for three international matches in Valencia, Spain, starting against Sweden and Japan.

Stokes also appeared for the U-17s at the Václav Ježek Cup in Mikulov, Czech Republic, where he made two starts against Germany and Slovakia.

The goalkeeper has also represented England at the U-17 level, making his first career start and appearance for the Young Lions on November 18 in an international friendly against Belgium.

This season for Red Bulls II, the 18-year-old has made 23 saves in six starts for the defending MLS NEXT Pro champions.
