HARRISON, N.J. (September 23, 2026) – Red Bull New York goalkeeper Tobias Szewczyk, and RBNY II midfielder Deven Cadigan and defender Josh Munson have been called up to U-17 USYNT camp in Marbella, Spain from September 24 to October 7, U.S. Soccer announced today.
Szewczyk, 17 is in his second season with New York making 17 starts for Red Bull New York II. He made his MLS NEXT Pro debut in a 1-1 draw against Inter Miami CF II on September 21, 2025. The goalkeeper made a career high eight saves in New York’s 2-1 victory over Toronto FC II on May 8. Those eight saves are tied for the fifth-most single match saves in RBNY II history.
The Morristown, N.J. native has made 10 career appearances with the USYNT, including five at the U-17 level, one with the U-16s and four with the U-15s. He was most recently called into June U-17 USYNT Camp and started in two matches against U-17 Brazil on June 7 and June 10.
Cadigan, 17 is in his first season with RBNY II and has made 27 appearances and logged a team high 2,061 minutes played. The midfielder made his MLS NEXT Pro debut on March 1 subbing into the match in the 15th minute against Columbus Crew 2.
The midfielder made his US Youth National debut in two international friendly matches against U-17 Brazil on June 7 and June 10 in Natal Brazil.
Munson, 17 is in his first season with RBNY II and has made 12 appearances and logging 692 minutes played. The defender made his MLS NEXT Pro debut against Carolina Core FC on May 30. He scored his first career MLS NEXT Pro in a 5-0 victory over Toronto FC II on June 21.
This will be the Munson’s first career USYNT call up.
Szewczyk, Cadigan and Munson will join the U-17 USYNT in Marbella, Spain on September 24. The group will play three friendly matches starting with two games at the Banús Football Center against the Republic of Ireland on September 30 and Norway on October 3. The squad will conclude camp against the Netherlands at La Quinta Football Center on October 6.
