HARRISON, N.J. (April 10, 2026) – Red Bull New York II have acquired Mauritanian midfielder Abdellahi Nasser Dine on a one-year loan deal through the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season from Football Federation of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, the club announced today.
“Abdellahi is a talented young box to box midfielder, that possesses good speed and acceleration with and without the ball,” said Head Coach Dominik Wohlert. “We are looking forward to having him at the club and for him to contribute to our midfield.”
The 19-year-old midfielder is part of the Football Federation of Islamic Republic of Mauritania youth academy. He played in the Africa’s Cup 2025, which is the same competition current Red Bull New York forward Mohammed Sofo and midfielder Ronald Donkor played in before coming to New York.
On the international level, Nasser Dine has four appearances for U-20 Mauritania logging 107 minutes played.
