HARRISON, N.J. (February 22, 2026) – Red Bull New York II have acquired Panamanian defender Alexander Julio on a one-year loan from C.D. Plaza Amador through the 2026 season with an option to extend, pending visa and registration approval, the club announced today.
“Alexander is a young full back that has high potential.“ Head Coach Dominik Wohlert said, “we look forward to welcoming him to our team and having him contribute to our back line.”
The 18-year-old right back made four starts for C.D. Plaza Amador in the Liga Panameña. The defender made his debut in a 5-2 victory against SD Atlético Nacional on September 22, 2025.
Julio is the fourth player from C.D. Plaza Amador to be signed by Red Bull New York II joining defenders Omar Valencia, midfielder Rafael Mosquera and forward Mijahir Jimenez.
