MATCH RECAP: Red Bull New York II Defeats Toronto FC II 5-0 at MSU Soccer Park

HARRISON N.J. (June 21, 2026) - Red Bull New York II (8-4-3, 28 pts.) defeated Toronto FC II (6-6-3, 22 pts.) 5-0 on Sunday night at MSU Soccer Park.

New York opened the scoring in the 11th minute when Mijahir Jiménez layed it off to Dennis Gjengaar, who delivered it back to the striker for his third goal of the season.

New York started the second half strong with a goal when defender Connor Faello delivered the ball to Jiménez who found Benny Rodriguez as the winger struck a ball from distance.

In the 80th minute, substitute forward Christian Gallagher found fellow substitute forward Sean Baitinger, who delivered a through ball to Rodriguez as he evaded the goalkeeper for a brace.

In the 83rd minute, Josh Munson scored with a header after Baitinger layed the ball to Faello, who then delivered the ball toward the goal where the defender added the fourth of the match.

To seal the victory, Rodriguez delivered the ball to Dennis Nelich, who found Baitinger as the forward scored found the back of the net.

Jiménez scored his 11th career goal in MLS NEXT Pro.

Rodriguez has scored four goals this season.

The midfielder is tied for first in the club for goals.

Munson and Baitinger scored their first-ever MLS NEXT Pro goals.
