HARRISON, N.J. (June 2, 2026) – Red Bull New York II defender Jason Bori has been called up to the U-17 Albania Training Camp.
Comprised of 20 players, the national team prepares for the second round of the European Championship qualifiers for this age group.
During the camp, Albania will face off against Latvia (June 3) and Ukraine (June 9). Both matches will be held at Arena Egnatia.
The results ultimately affect the position of teams for the upcoming qualifiers of the 2028 UEFA U-19 Championship, which will take place in Bulgaria.
Receiving his first call-up with the Albanian Youth National Team, the 17-year-old has previously participated in training camps organized by the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF) in the United States.
Occurring annually, FSHF invites Albanian talents from the U.S. and Canada to showcase their skills and scout the next generation for Kuqezinjtë.
An academy product, Bori made his MLS NEXT Pro debut for Red Bulls II in the squad’s 3-1 victory against FC Cincinnati 2 on April 19 at MSU Soccer Park. He substituted into the match in the 89th minute.
Last year, the centerback participated in training sessions with sister club RB Salzburg in Austria.
