HARRISON, N.J. (June 2, 2026) – Red Bull New York II defender Alexander Julio has been called up to the U-20 Panama Training Camp.
Comprised of 25 players, the camp will be held in Yalova, Türkiye, from May 28 to June 9.
During the camp, Panama will play against Iraq, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
This camp will be used as preparation for the upcoming CONCACAF U-20 Championship, which will be held in Mexico from July 24 to August 9.
Panama will be in Group C of the competition, with Canada, Honduras and Jamaica rounding out the rest of the group. All matches will be played at Estadio Universitario BUAP in Puebla.
The tournament results will determine who from the confederation will participate in the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
Julio arrived this season on a one-year loan from C.D. Plaza Amador with an option to extend.
Prior to joining Red Bulls II, the 18-year-old right back made four starts for Los Leones in the Liga Panameña. The defender made his debut in a 5-2 victory against SD Atlético Nacional on September 22, 2025.
