HARRISON, N.J. (June 2, 2026) - Red Bull New York II Midfielder Marco Morigi has received a call up to the U-20 Venezuela National Team for the Maurice Revello Tournament in Toulon, France.
Morigi joined Red Bull New York II on loan from Caracas FC ahead of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season, signing a one-year deal on March 19, 2026 with an option to extend. The 19-year-old midfielder has made five appearances and two substitute appearances in MLS NEXT Pro during the 2026 season, operating primarily as a central midfield option in New York’s rotation.
Prior to arriving in New York, Morigi has made 13 appearances across all competitions for Caracas FC in Venezuela’s top division Liga FUTVE. He made his professional debut on October 13, 2024 in a 3-1 win over UCV FC and earned his first career start in Copa Venezuela on August 21, 2025. At youth level, Morigi developed through the Caracas FC academy system before stepping into the first team setup.
Morigi also spent time with the FC Bayern München U-19 World Squad in July 2025, where he started all four friendly matches and scored four goals, including a brace against Bayern's U-19 side during the international tour, highlighting his attacking output from midfield at youth level.
U-20 Venezuela and Morigi will kick off group play against Canada on June 1 at 12:30 p.m. After they will face Ivory Coast on June 3 at 12:30 p.m. The squad will then face Portugal on June 8 at 12:30 p.m. Venezuela will round out the group stage on June 11 in a matchup against Japan at 7:30 a.m. All matches will be played in Toulon, France as part of the Maurice Revello Tournament.
