HARRISON, N.J. (September 16, 2026) – Red Bull New York II midfielder Marco Morigi has been called up to the U-20 Venezuela National Team for the South American Games in Rosario, Argentina, the federation announced today.
Comprised of 18 players, the 19-year-old is one of two players in the squad that does not play for a club in Venezuela.
On loan this season from Caracas FC in Venezuela’s top division Liga FUTVE, the midfielder has featured in six matches in MLS NEXT Pro play.
For the men’s side, the tournament is restricted to under-19 players (born on or after January 1, 2007).
During the competition, La Vinotinto kick off Group B action against Uruguay U20 on September 17. The nation then will take on defending champions Paraguay U20 on September 19 before finishing the group stage against hosts Argentina U19 on September 21. All matches will be held at Estadio Marcelo Bielsa.
Most recently, Morigi represented Venezuela’s U-20 side at the Maurice Revello Tournament in Toulon, France. He started all four group stage matches, going the full 90 minutes against the Ivory Coast and eventual champions Portugal.
