Red Bull New York II Mutually Agree to Terminate Contract of Midfielder Ibrahim Kasule

HARRISON, N.J. (August 10, 2026) – Red Bull New York II have mutually agreed to terminate the contract of midfielder Ibrahim Kasule, the club announced today.

Kasule spent three seasons with Red Bull New York II, providing 39 goal contributions in 64 appearances for the club. With 28 goals scored, the midfielder is the all-time leading goal scorer in club history.

Arriving in 2023 from Wakiso Giants FC of the Uganda Premier League, Kasule made his MLS NEXT Pro debut against Columbus Crew 2 on April 9.

On August 30, after signing a short-term agreement prior to the Red Bulls’ match against the New England Revolution, the Buikwe, Uganda made his MLS debut, subbing on in the 63rd minute.

At the international level, Kasule made his international debut for Uganda on October 13, 2023, against Algeria. During the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, the midfielder made two appearances for the Cranes.

This past season, Kasule was loaned out to MLS NEXT Pro expansion side Connecticut United FC. In 10 appearances, the 22-year-old scored twice for the Coywolves.
