The New York Red Bulls Youth Soccer Festival series, presented by Hackensack University Medical Center, had its second successful event last Saturday at the Hillsborough Township Municipal Complex in Hillsborough, NJ.
The first New Jersey-based event was attended by over 200 youths, following last weekend's festival at Long Island Junior Soccer League Park in Plainview, New York.
"The Hillsborough Soccer Club is thrilled with the performance of the Red Bulls at the soccer festival and with the professionalism that they exhibited helping to organize, manage and bring this event to Hillsborough," said Hillsborough Soccer Club President John Ciccarelli. "It was a great day for the youth soccer players who participated, for the parents, and for all who volunteered to make this inaugural soccer festival in Hillsborough such a success. The Club looks forward to more great things from our training partnership with the Red Bulls."
New York Red Bulls players Damien Perrinelle and Dane Richards were on hand to take pictures and sign autographs with event attendees. Kids were able to compete in HackensackUMC 3v3 soccer matches, learn freestyle tricks from the Red Bulls Street Team, and test their skills with the Skills Challenge presented by both Hospital for Special Surgery & Hackensack University Medical Center.
