Match Recap: NYRB II Fall to Pittsburgh Riverhounds on the Road

  • Mertz recorded his second goal of the match in the 61st minute, while Ropapa Mensah tripled the lead off a pass from Raymond Lee. Anthony Velarde rounded out the scoring for Pittsburgh in the 81st minute.
  • NYRB II forward Dantouma Toure recorded his first professional goal in the 93rd minute, after he found a pass from midfielder Cherif Dieye.
  • NYRB II forward Sebastian Elney and defender Preston Kilwien each made their 30th appearance for the club.
  • Midfielder Chris Lema made his 63rd appearance for the club, which puts him sole position of second place all-time, one shy away from tying Jared Stroud for the all-time lead.
