Watch New York Red Bulls on Television

MSG Networks Inc. and Major League Soccer’s New York Red Bulls agreed to a multi-year rights agreement extension in 2016, ensuring that MSG Networks will continue as the exclusive regional telecast home of the Red Bulls.

MSG Networks and the Red Bulls (and its predecessor the MetroStars) have enjoyed a long and mutually-beneficial relationship that dates back more than 20 years. In 2015, the Red Bulls won their second Supporters’ Shield  in three seasons and advanced to the Eastern Conference finals for the second consecutive year. MSG Networks Inc. is an industry leader with two award-winning regional sports and entertainment networks, MSG Network (MSG) and MSG+, as well as the livestreaming and video on demand platform, MSG GO. The networks are home to nine professional sports teams, delivering live games of the New York Knicks; New York Rangers; New York Liberty; New York Islanders; New Jersey Devils; Buffalo Sabres; Major League Soccer’s Red Bulls and the Westchester Knicks, and the exclusive non-game coverage of the New York Giants.

MSG Networks, which has been the regional television home of the Red Bulls (previously the MetroStars) since 1996, will telecast pre game and postgame coverage for all MSG Networks’ produced games.

English/Spanish Radio

All 34 of New York’s MLS matches will be broadcast live on the team’s 24/7 radio channel – New York Red Bulls Radio – via TuneIn. The Red Bulls are the first team in Major League Soccer to have their own 24/7 radio channel on Tunein.

New York Red Bulls fans everywhere can access the English and Spanish streams on the free TuneIn Radio app on over 200 platforms ranging from mobile phones and tablets, to smart TVs and vehicles.

Steve Cangialosi

Emmy Award-winning broadcaster Steve Cangialosi returns for his 11th season as the team’s play-by-play announce and 17th season covering the Red Bulls. Cangialosi joined MSG in 2000 as the weekend anchor of “Regional Sports Report New York Edition” on MSG+. He soon took on additional roles as the host of “MetroStars’ GameNight,” the “Running with the Bulls” pre-game show and “Metro Soccer Report.” In 2002, Cangialosi moved to co-host of “MSG SportsDesk” and “MSG, NY.”

Shep Messing

Former New York and Olympic goalkeeper Shep Messing begins his 18th season as game analyst. One of the premier American soccer players in the mid-1970s and 1980s,  Messing knows more than just a little bit about goaltending and the game of soccer. Since 2001, he has applied his expertise as an analyst for New York Red Bulls (previously the Metro Stars) telecasts on MSG Networks.

Matt Harmon

Matt Harmon will handle the English broadcasts as the play-by-play announcer.

Steve Jolley

Former MetroStars and Red Bulls standout Steve Jolley will provide color commentary for Matt Harmon on the English broadcasts.

Ernesto Motta

One of the top Spanish play-by-play voices in the game of soccer, Ernesto Motta, will be the voice of the Spanish online broadcast for the New York Red Bulls.
