Red Bull Arena had a packed schedule last week, as the venue hosted a CONCACAF Gold Cup double header on Monday, followed by the first ever concert it hosted on Saturday. As you can imagine, a lot of work went into field preparation for both events. In the video below, Red Bull Arena Director of Grounds Dan Shemesh walks us through the preparations that were undertaken from the moment the Gold Cup matches ended Monday night through the rejuvenation of the playing surface that began the moment the Dispatch concert concluded. The Gold Cup matches and the concert were very successful, as were Shemesh's efforts to maintain the excellent surface that has helped Red Bull Bull Arena become a true home field advantage for the Red Bulls.
