Red Bull Salzburg
The Red Bulls concluded their preseason on a high note on July 8 with a 1-0 win over Olympique Lyonnias, one of the top clubs in the history of French football. The game-winner came midway through the first half when Simon Cziommer found the net with a strike from 25 yards out.

After the match, Red Bull head coach Ricardo Moniz was pleased with the win, but also felt the team can improve on the result heading into the upcoming season.

“I’m pleased with the result and match today, even though we made it too easy for the opponents to threaten our goal. That’s something we’ll be working on hard in the week we have left,” said Moniz. “But when you can beat an opponent like that a week before the start of the season, naturally it’s very good for the confidence.”

Red Bull Salzburg is now set to begin competitive play when they participate in the second round of UEFA Europa League qualifying play beginning on July 14. The Red Bulls are match up with Liepajas Metalurgs and the first of two legs will take place in Leipajas on Thursday.

Red Bull Leipzig
Leipzig continued their preseason by competing in two friendlies which ended up producing mixed results.

The first friendly, on July 5, came against Flota Swinemünde. After each team registered a goal in the first half, neither team was able to find the back of the net again and the game came to close as a 1-1 draw.

After the disappointing draw against Flota Swinemünde, the Red Bulls rebounded strongly on July 9 by beating FSV Budissa Bautzen in a friendly by a count of 3-0.

Red Bull Brasil
Last Saturday, the Red Bulls managed to conclude their preseason with a win when they beat Pão de Açúcar 1-0. 17-year-old midfielder Augusto scored the lone goal for the Red Bulls.

Copa Paulista league play is set to begin on July 17. Red Bull Brasil will open up their season when they take on Palmeiras B at Moisés Lucarelli Stadium.

The U-15 Red Bull Academy squad took on their respective Corinthians Academy squad and had their way in the match, emerging with a 2-0 victory. The U-17 Red Bulls did not have the same luck against Corinthians, as they fell 2-1. Both teams will now go on break until the end of August, when championship play will resume.

Red Bull Ghana
After announcing that former New York Red Bull Training Programs Coach Tom Harris would take over the U-15 Red Bulls in Ghana last week, the Red Bulls have announced a new change with the U-17 squad. With Morten Grahn leaving to take over as an individual coach at FC Copenhagen, Ghana has named Dutch coach Sipke Hulshoff as the new manager of the U-17 squad.
