Shortly after a training stint with Stuttgart in Germany, New York Red Bulls teen sensation Juan Agudelo will don another red kit during the offseason.

The 19-year-old forward revealed on Twitter on Wednesday that he’ll be joining Premier League side Liverpool FC for some more offseason training in an effort to stay sharp, according to US head coach Jurgen Klinsmann's wishes for all USMNT players to stay active.

"We're very pleased that Juan is staying fit and gaining tremendous experience training at the highest level at Stuttgart of the German Bundesliga and now Liverpool of the English Premiership," Red Bulls sporting director Erik Solér told MLSsoccer.com in a statement. "For such a young player, these stints are invaluable and we are eager to continue to track his development heading into the upcoming MLS season."

Agudelo took to the social media site on Wednesday to let his fans know of his offseason plans, but tried not to give too much away.

“Flight to England tomorrow. ill keep my followers n fans on a suspenseful cliff hanger, without naming the team i will be training with Yet,” Agudelo wrote.

He quickly realized that his training stint with Liverpool was no big secret, going back to Twitter half an hour later to add, “Okkkkkk.... I guess a lot of people knew already lolol. #LFC it is.”

Agudelo won’t be the only American at Anfield. He’ll be joined by 17-year-old US youth international Marc Pelosi, who signed a deal in early November to join Liverpool’s academy set-up.
