MSG Networks, the official broadcast partner of the New York Red Bulls, took home a cool 16 Emmy Awards across a number of categories, as announced by The New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Monday afternoon.
Red Bulls announcer Steve Cangialosi secured two awards on his own for On-Camera Talent: Sports Play-by-Play category and the On-Camera Talent: Anchor – Sports category.
Cangialosi is currently in his fifth season as the team’s play-by-play announcer and 11th season covering the Red Bulls. He is joined by Shep Messing, in his 12th season as an expert analyst, along with host and sideline reporter Tina Cervasio, also in her fifth season covering the Red Bulls.
