The Red Bulls were unable to snag a point on the road in Houston Friday night, falling to the Dynamo 2-0 at BBVA Compass Stadium.
The loss allows Houston to leapfrog the Red Bulls and claim first place in the Eastern Conference, as New York drops to second. However, the Red Bulls will have a chance to redeem themselves next Friday when they host the second half of the home-and-home series and look to defend home turf at Red Bull Arena.
