HARRISON, NJ (Nov. 3, 2012) – The New York Red Bulls released the following update on the status Red Bull Arena in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy:

“Red Bull Arena has regained full power and clean-up efforts in and around the facility are already underway. While resources are impacted by the hurricane, the maintenance crew and stadium staff have been very resourceful and ingenuous in assuring that the stadium operations will be completely on-line for that one special evening on Wednesday. After consulting with Major League Soccer and local authorities, we can confirm that the second leg of the team’s MLS Cup Playoffs Eastern Conference Semifinals Series will be played at Red Bull Arena on Wednesday, November 7 at 8:00 PM as planned.”

The Red Bulls take on D.C. United in the first leg of the aggregate goals series at RFK Stadium tonight at 8:00 PM (TV: NBC Sports Network; Radio: 93.1 FM).

Tickets are available for the second leg at Red Bull Arena by logging onto www.newyorkredbulls.com.
