New York Red Bulls midfielder Joel Lindpere (Estonia) and defender Roy Miller (Costa Rica) were called up by their respective national teams for international friendlies taking place on Nov. 14.
Lindpere and the Estonian National Team will travel to Abu Dhabi to face the United Arab Emirates. Recently completing his third season for New York, Lindpere was the only Red Bull to appear in each of the team’s 34 regular season matches, tallying five goals and five assists. Lindpere has earned 82 caps for his country.
Miller will look to record his 34th cap for Costa Rica when the Ticos travel to Santa Cruz to take on Bolivia. The Red Bulls defender made 24 appearances and 20 starts for New York in his third year with New York, tallying six assists.
